View Full Version : traceroot in dos
i had heard of a command for tracing the parth that your internet connection is taking from dos but can not remember what it was something about traceroot
any help appreciated
Usage: tracert [-d] [-h maximum_hops] [-j host-list] [-w timeout] target_name
Options:
-d Do not resolve addresses to hostnames.
-h maximum_hops Maximum number of hops to search for target.
-j host-list Loose source route along host-list.
-w timeout Wait timeout milliseconds for each reply.
the command to trace route in DOS is 'tracert.exe'
open a Dos window, and type 'tracert' and it should give you all the other instructions on what to do.
